Adobe MAX week
This week is Adobe MAX. A lot of new Adobe product features will be released this week, including several that I contributed to such as the Object-aware Refine Edge mode.
It is BMVC this week. I have one paper on "Text and Style Conditioned GAN for Generation of Offline Handwriting Lines." Head to my Papers to check it out.
I am attending ECCV (remotely) this week. Our paper "PhraseClick: Toward Achieving Flexible Interactive Segmentation by Phrase and Click" is a spotlight.
Adobe Research named an "Innovative Team of the Year"
Fast Company named Adobe Research a finalist for its "Innovative Team of the Year". I am honored to be part of such an amazing team.

Tech Excellence Award winner
Today I received the Tech Excellence Award from Adobe for my work in segmentation! This is given out one a year to a few recipients. "The Tech Excellence Award recognizes and celebrates employees in technical roles ... who have made a significant impact on our business." I am honored and humbled to have received this award.

I'm attending CVPR this week. I'll be helping to present my poster on correcting discolorations in sRGB images caused by incorrect white balancing. We also had some work on question-answering in data visualizations presented in a workshop.

Today the Photoshop team showed off my Deep Matting technology running in Photoshop as an experimental feature.

I was at ICCV in Venice this week. It was a great conference at a great location.
I presented a cool new techology, codenamed SceneStitch, at Adobe Max. I presented to an audience of around 12,000.
